The Adtran NetVanta 1335 comes standard with twenty-four fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Ethernet) used for IP telephony and Internet access. The NetVanta 1335 also has a single dual personality port which is used to uplink or stack additional networking equipment. This dual personality port, commonly referred to as a combo port, can be either SFP fiber or Gigabit Ethernet. A major feature of this Adtran 1700515E12 router is its WiFi capabilities; a wireless access controller and access point are built into this router. Other important features of the Adtran NetVanta 1335 include a stateful inspection firewall, Layer 3, VPN, Voice Quality Monitoring, Quality of Service, Network Address Translation and a durable metal chassis that is rack mountable.
