The Cisco ASR 1000 Series 40-Gbps ESP is supported on the Cisco ASR 1006 and 1013 Routers. On the Cisco ASR 1006 and 1013 Routers, the ESP can be deployed in a redundant configuration. The Cisco ASR 1000 Series ESPs handle data-plane processing tasks for all network traffic.
